Grooming Policies and Requirements

To schedule a grooming appointment, please contact our groomers directly or request an appointment online. All new clients must have an account before booking an appointment:

Drop-off and pick-up policies:

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment; late appointments will need to reschedule and/or late fees apply.

  • No-show and late arrival fees will apply.

  • Credit/debit cards ONLY for payment (tips cannot be put on cards).

Hours

Grooming is available by appointment, Monday-Saturday (evening appointments also).  Phones are answered (and voicemails returned) as soon as possible.

Requirements

Pets must have a current Rabies vaccination, which MUST be given by a licensed veterinarian, and whom we will contact to verify.  Distemper and bordatella vaccines are strongly recommended.

Generally, grooms will be completed in 2-3 hours.  Please ask at drop off for more accurate timing. Pets may stay up to 4 hours with approval if the day allows but generally maximum of 30min after completion.  WithOUT approval, pets will be charged for a no-reservation daycare fee.

No-show and late arrival fees will be applied.

There are inherent risks with participation in services provided by Paws and Claws Pet Resort including but not limited to: nicks, cuts, scrapes, scratches, bites, viruses, cough or cold, and every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure pet’s safety and well-being. Paws and Claws Pet Resort cannot be held liable for such occurrences. All dogs do not thrive in an open play environment, however; different accommodations can be made for all.
